West River Transit is a public transportation system providing origin to destination bus service for all people in the rural area around Bismarck/Mandan. Our goal is to enhance the mobility and accessibility of all residents in the rural communities that West River Transit serves.
Areas we serve include Beulah, Center, Dunn County, Eastern Rural Burleigh County, Grant County, Hebron, McLean County, and New Salem/Almont.
In an effort to continue to provide the best services possible, West River Transit drivers and staff participate in professional development and training opportunities provided by North Dakota Department of Transportation, Dakota Transit Association (DTA), and Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA).

West River Transit Title VI and Non-Discrimination Statement
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Specifically, Title VI provides that "no person on the United States shall on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."
